Chance to win a new prize award of $15,000
You can now win a new "XML" Prize award worth $15,000 sponsored by Hewlett-Packard, event sponsor of IT Contest 2001.
Enter the Practical Project Competition(PPC). All entries to this competition which deploy the XML technology standard in their projects will be automatically considered for this award. Prizes worth $15,000 will be awarded to the individual/team project best deploying XML. And this is on top of the $35,000 cash awards for the PPC!
About XML
One of the crucial factors in the advent of Internet technology is the adoption of open standards that allow people to link up with each other through common interfaces. The next wave of Internet development will be the linking up of various applications with XML, a common interface standard that facilitates the communications between various applications, no matter whether they are B2B or B2C.
This new award aims to arouse the interest of the community and promote the adoption of XML standard in applications development. The award will be given to the project best deploying the XML technology . All individual/team projects of the Practical Project Competition that have deployed the XML technology standard will be automatically considered for this award.
